The Bishop room is definitely the most notorious one around, known for all sorts of spooky happenings. People who have visited or lived there have claimed to see ghostly figures, like a cavalier, a monk, and even the ghost of a dog.
The spookiest part of the Ancient Ram Inn story is that it was built on a pagan burial ground.
The inn is said to be built on an old pagan burial site, and it gets even spookier—John Humpries, the previous owner, discovered the remains of children beneath the floorboards along with ancient broken daggers. This hints that these kids might have been part of some witchcraft sacrifices.
The frightening moment when a demon suddenly pounds on the door in the “Men’s Kitchen” room, causing Vega and their partner to jump in shock. The room stands on an pagan burial site.
The late Mr. Humphries, told wild tales about how he was often attacked by spirits, dragged out of bed, and often spoke of the ghost on the stairs, the most malevolent spirit in the building.
Travel for Ghosts spent the night in the Ancient Ram Inn and installed 5 cameras in the reportedly most active rooms. The evidence collected from these cameras are unbelievably terrifying and were covered in the first and second episode of the first season of its paranormal investigation series.
Cameras set up in the busiest rooms of the Inn by Travel for Ghosts caught a shadowy figure moving across the space and vanishing into thin air. There were also motion-activated cameras that shifted on their own when no one was present, along with other paranormal phenomena.
The Ancient Ram Inn story got a big thumbs up from paranormal investigator Vega and partner. They encountered everything from demons to wandering spirits, and even had some interactions with John Humphries. It turned out to be an awesome night packed with evidence worth diving into more.
